4. To find your friends on kik, tap on locate friends or contacts and if you have the username of your friend then you can find them easily using their username.
5. Once everything is done, confirm your email address otherwise you will not be able to access your kik account.

Chatting and Sharing using on kik

This app is very easy to use. You can chat with your friends very easily using this Kik app. Steps are given below:

1. At the bottom of screen Tap on chat or Tap on friends name.
2. After writing your text in the chat box tap on the send button. I can’t specify the Chat button because it depends on the version you are using. It may appear as a button or as a speech bubble.
3. Tap on keyboard icons on your device to add emoji, characters and all symbols and icons on your chat.

Sharing Videos and Images on Kik

Before sharing media files on the kik app you have to allow to access media files on your mobile phone. After that you can share the video and images on kik app very easily by following the steps given below:

1. Just above the message box, Tap on the image or video.
2. After that add any image or video which you want to add or you can record audio also if you want to.
3. If you want to add a message with the attachment file, then you can add that message too.
4. At last, tap on send button to send the file to your friend.

There is a little square icon on right of the chat box just above it. Tapping on that icon, you can share other content too on kik app.

How to find People on Kik app

Without People there will be no use of messaging app. So, You can find people on Kik app using their usernames only. You can’t find them using their mobile numbers and other details. Even you can’t find your friend just by typing his name. You need to enter his or her username. For the privacy purpose, it is good but it makes the searching for a friend on kik app difficult.

1. At the bottom right of the front Kik screen, tap the big blue ‘+’ button
2. then select Search by username option, Start a group, Scan a Kik code or Discover bots.
3. After that enter the criteria according to the choice you made.

You can only search for your friend through their username. So, You must confirm the username of your friend before adding him or her on kik app.

Group Chatting on Kik App

You can also make a group of your friends on Kik app and do group chatting. You can add 9 members in a group.

1. At the bottom right of the front Kik screen, tap the big blue ‘+’ button
2. then Tap on Start a group.
3. Write the group name so you can find that group easily.
4. Add members to the group just by adding their usernames.
5. Start chatting with your froup members and have fun.
